About this Jrny

This journey through Kyrgyzstan unfolds as a seamless blend of dramatic landscapes, nomadic culture, and slow, immersive travel. From the serene shores of Issyk-Kul Lake to the striking red formations of Jeti-Ögüz and the cultural charm of Karakol, each day brings a new perspective on the region’s natural beauty and heritage. The experience deepens as you journey into the high-altitude wilderness of Song-Kul Lake, where life slows down amidst vast grasslands, grazing horses, and authentic encounters with nomadic families.

Along the way, moments of connection—whether through traditional meals, quiet walks, or shared stories—add depth to the landscapes, creating a rhythm that feels both grounding and enriching. Scenic drives across mountain passes, lakeside stays, and hands-on cultural experiences like eagle hunting offer a well-rounded glimpse into Kyrgyzstan’s timeless way of life. The journey concludes back in Bishkek, leaving you with a sense of calm, perspective, and a deep appreciation for this raw and beautiful corner of the world.

This Jrny is led by Mouna Nanaiah, a full time IT professional and a passionate motorcyclist. She lives for the thrill of the open road. Alongside her partner Shyam, she has ridden over 1 lakh+ kilometers across 24 states in India, riding through mountains, deserts, coastlines, and everything in between.
