Sri Lanka dazzles us with its rich heritage, lush landscapes, and vibrant culture on this lively six-day adventure.

We arrive in Sigiriya and dive straight into ancient wonders, climbing the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress and exploring the nearby village before marveling at the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple. For the thrill-seekers, a safari at Minneriya National Park awaits, teeming with wild elephants.

Heading to Kandy, we journey through spice-scented gardens in Matale, visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and soak up the atmosphere by Kandy Lake, topped off with a traditional dance that captivates our senses. In Kandy, the Royal Botanical Gardens invite us to stroll among exotic blooms, while panoramic views and a peaceful Buddha statue inspire calm. Later, climb the ancient Pidurangala Rock. There are no activities scheduled for the first day. The standard check-in time at the hotel would be 1400 hours, and you can plan your arrival accordingly.

The hotel check-out time is usually 1100 hours or 1200 hours. It is a 5 hour drive from Nuwara Eliya to Bandaranaike Airport near Colombo, so please schedule your departure flight post 4pm.

Please read through the itinerary in detail to understand the intensity of the activities planned. There are some long walks scheduled. Overall for the tour on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 2 would be ideal.

Most travel is by road between destinations. The drive from Bandaranaike Airport to Sigiriya and from Sigiriya to Kandy involves a few hours on the road, but routes are scenic and comfortable.

Absolutely, a variety of vegetarian meal options will be available. Vegan options may be limited but available.
