October in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands marks the end of the monsoon and the beginning of the dry season, making it a transitional yet rewarding time to visit. The weather is warm and pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 30°C, and while occasional showers may still occur, the rainfall is far lighter compared to peak monsoon months. The seas begin to calm, making conditions suitable once again for snorkelling, diving, and boat trips. The islands are especially lush and vibrant after the rains, and with fewer tourists around, October offers a quieter, more intimate experience of the Andamans.
