About this Jrny

The Pamirs unfold as one of the world’s great overland adventures, where towering mountains, remote valleys and Silk Road heritage create an unforgettable journey. Your adventure begins in Dushanbe, soaking in the atmosphere of Tajikistan’s capital before setting out along the legendary Pamir Highway. Through Kalaikhumb and Bartang, winding roads reveal dramatic river gorges, traditional villages and authentic local life.

In Khorog and the Wakhan Valley, discover botanical gardens, bustling bazaars, ancient forts and the fascinating culture that flourishes along the Afghan border. Vrang and Langar bring encounters with museums, petroglyphs, hot springs and spectacular mountain scenery.

The high Pamirs take centre stage as you cross Khargush Pass, visit remote lakes and traverse vast plateaus towards Jarty Gumbez and Murghab. The journey concludes with the stunning waters of Karakul Lake, a crossing into Kyrgyzstan and a final evening in Bishkek. Join this remarkable expedition through the heart of Central Asia, where every day reveals a new horizon.
