Tbilisi, the vibrant heart of Georgia, welcomes us with its rich history, charming old town, and warm hospitality. We begin by exploring the cobbled streets of Tbilisi’s old town, where we discover the iconic Abanotubani sulfur baths and take in panoramic views from Narikala Fortress.

From there, we journey to the breathtaking landscapes of Kazbegi, stopping at the historic Ananuri Fortress and the scenic Pasanauri village. In Kazbegi, we marvel at the stunning Gveleti Waterfall and the awe-inspiring Gergeti Sameba Church, with optional adventures like a cable car ride to Kobi or paragliding in Gudauri. Returning to Tbilisi, we visit the spiritual landmarks of Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, with the option to unwind in the famous sulfur baths.

Abanotubani is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulphuric baths. Located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala fort across Metekhisubani, Abanotubani. Abanotubani translates to “District of Baths’. Fed by naturally hot mineral waters (47°C), the sulphur baths have been an essential part of Tbilisi life for centuries. The brick-domed underground baths were built in the 17th century and produce 3 million litres of water every day.

What airport should I fly in and out of?

The trip begins and ends in Tbilisi. You should arrive at and depart from Tbilisi International Airport (airport code: TBS).

All foreign travellers will require a valid passport, which should have a validity for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. All travellers will require a visa for entry into Georgia. Indian passport holders need a visa to visit Georgia and can apply online for an e-Visa (www.evisa.gov.ge). The e-Visa allows a 30-day stay. The visa fee is $20 USD, with an additional $15 USD verification fee for Indian applicants. Processing takes up to 5 working days. An e-Visa doesn’t guarantee entry; border officials may request further documentation. It is recommended to check the latest requirements on the official Embassy website. Each passenger must be personally responsible for ensuring she/he possesses valid travel documentation.

Travel insurance is mandatory to protect against loss of personal valuables, illness or unforeseen late cancellations. There are no activities scheduled for the first day. The standard check-in time at the hotel would be 1400 hours, and you can plan your arrival accordingly.

You can depart anytime. Generally, there are no inclusions on the tour on the last day. The hotel check-out time is usually 1100 hours or 1200 hours.

Children under 12 are not allowed on this Jrny. Children above 12 are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Yes, there are a few road journeys between destinations. The longest drive is from Tbilisi to Kazbegi, which takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours with scenic stops along the way.

Absolutely, a variety of vegetarian meal options will be available. Vegan options may be limited but available.
