Our journey through Tanzania’s remarkable landscapes offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Beginning in Arusha, we settle into the vibrant town before heading towards the stunning Tarangire National Park. Known for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers an exciting safari experience with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. As we move to the next, we travel to the iconic Central Serengeti, where expansive plains and abundant wildlife await. We enjoy thrilling safaris, with sightings of lions, cheetahs, and more. Our time here also includes a visit to a Maasai village, where we gain insight into the local culture and traditions. Further we make our way to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes.

Throughout the journey, we experience game drives, scenic views, and diverse wildlife in each location. From the open savannah of Serengeti to the unique ecosystem of Ngorongoro, each stop brings us closer to nature’s wonders. As we conclude our trip, we return to Arusha, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences we’ve had. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, a vibrant gateway city nestled at the base of Mount Meru. Known as the safari capital of Tanzania, Arusha boasts a charming blend of bustling markets, cultural heritage, and stunning views of nearby mountain landscapes. The town offers an excellent mix of traditional and modern experiences, from its lively Maasai markets to its coffee plantations and art galleries.

After checking into your hotel, you can unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings in preparation for your adventure ahead. Spend the day at leisure. For dining, Arusha offers a variety of restaurant options, from local Tanzanian dishes to international cuisine—personalised recommendations can be provided upon request to suit your taste.

The tour starts and ends in Kilimanjaro/Arusha. So you should arrive at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (Airport code is JRO) or at Arusha Airport (Airport code is ARK)

All foreign travellers will require a valid passport to enter Tanzania. The passport should have a validity for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Most travellers will require a visa for entry into Tanzania. Citizens of most countries can apply for an e-visa online at https://visa.immigration.go.tz/

Travel insurance is mandatory to protect against loss of personal valuables, illness or unforeseen late cancellations. While suppliers make every effort to ensure guests' safety, we cannot be held responsible for events beyond our control.

Arrival and departure airport transfers are included between the airport and the tour hotel. These will be shared with other members from the group.

There are no activities scheduled on Day 1 of the trip. So you can arrive anytime. Hotel check-in time varies and generally will be around 14:00 housr.

The transfer from Karatu to Kilimanjaro airport will take 3.5 hours (airport code: JRO). So please make sure your international flights are booked late in the afternoon or evening, with a minimum of 4-5 hours in between.

Children 3 years and above are welcome.

Normally, yes! In some cases if the exact hotels are unavailable for any reason, we'll make sure you're put up in hotels that are equivalent to the original in terms of location and facilities. Rest assured, your stay will be as promised.

Please read through the itinerary in detail. Overall for the tour on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 3 would be ideal. You are on a safari and depending on where and when you see the wild animals, you will be on uncomfortable dirt roads for long durations.

Please refer to the daily activities in the itinerary, where the driving distance and duration for each day are given. However you are on a safari, and depending on where the animals are, you will be driving for hours on uncomfortable dirt roads. So be ready!

It is mandatory to carry a Yellow Fever vaccination card on all East Africa trips. We advise you to check with your local health clinic or doctors a few weeks before your trip for proper recommendations.

Vegetarian options will be available, but might be somewhat limited. The same is true for vegan options.

We try and cater to other diet restrictions as much as possible. But, we do focus on regional local cuisine. So there will be limitations. Please write to [email protected] with your booking number in the subject line to inform us well in advance of any such restrictions.

The weather in Tanzania varies by region, but the general climate is tropical with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) during most of the year. The best time to visit is from June to October, when the weather is drier and cooler, making it ideal for safaris and outdoor exploration. This period also coincides with the dry season, ensuring better wildlife viewing opportunities.

We require a 35% advance payment at the time of booking.

The remaining balance needs to be paid in full at least 75 days before the date of travel.

Cancellation up to 91 days from the date of travel: 10% cancellation charges (as per the total trip cost) will be levied, the rest will be refunded to you

From 90 - 61 days from the date of travel: 35% cancellation charges will be levied

From 60 - 46 days from the date of travel: 50% cancellation charges will be levied

45 days or less from the date of travel: 100% cancellation charges will be levied
