Experience the arctic nature, give snowmobiling a try, and drive off to the forest on our early winter snowy routes! Snowmobiling is big fun and a common hobby for a local. There is unlimited wilderness, lots of tracks and beautiful sceneries all around you once you get on a snowmobile. All the snowmobiling activities are shared and start with the instructions.

Note:
Snowmobiling is a weather-dependent activity. In the absence of sufficient snow, it will be replaced by a guided hiking experience. The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland.

Lake Inari and More

After breakfast, get ready to venture into the wild! We’re moving from the Wilderness Juuta to the enchanting Aurora Cabin in Wilderness Inari. Today we visit a reindeer farm and meet a local reindeer herder and his reindeer. This offers a unique and memorable experience, providing an opportunity to learn about these fascinating animals and the culture of the people who raise them.Inari Village is also a gateway to outdoor adventures, with endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, kayaking, and wildlife watching in the surrounding wilderness.

As you head south towards Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland and the official hometown of Santa Claus, the landscape gradually transforms. The tour starts and ends in Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL). It is the main gateway for travelers arriving in the capital city.

All travellers will require a valid passport to enter Finland. The passport should have a validity for at least six months beyond the completion of travel. Most travellers will require a visa for entry into the EU/schengen area which Finland is part of. Please check with the nearest Embassy or Consulate as immigration laws are very strict and entry may be refused. Yes, all JrnyOn tours include private airport transfers for arrival and departure between the airport and the tour hotel on the tour start day only. In the case of Social trips, these transfers may be shared with other members of your tour.

Overall for the tour on a scale from 1 - 5, a fitness level of 3 would be ideal.

However, driving between Inari and Rovaniemi, both situated in Finnish Lapland, may require a relatively long journey. The longest drive in this tour appx 4 hrs (depending on traffic).
